That said putting a laptop in the freezer for one minute probably wont cool it down by any appreciable amount either. I have read that it is possible to revive a dead Li-ion battery by putting it in the freezer for three to seven days then letting it get back to room temperature. Now take the discharged battery and put in in the freezer for one whole day and night.
